SATURDAY'S INSPIRATION

Arianna Huffington (Photo: A. Huffington/Google+)
Arianna Huffington is president and editor in chief of The Huffington Post Media Group. Very charismatic and interesting business woman. Her most important advice is - get enough sleep! Sounds a bit lame? No, no... She worked very, very hard in her media company but, after she passed out from exhaustion, she decided to change her lifestyle.  "It is incredibly important that while you go out and change the world, you take care of yourself," she said.

She realized the importance of sleep: "Sleep was back in my life. I became obsessed with it. On average, single working women and working mothers actually get an hour and a half less sleep than the seven-and-a-half-hour minimum the body needs to function".

"We need to redefine success so that success is defined by personal wellness as well as professional achievements", she said in a video above. I also think that is really important that we first take care of our body, mind and private life, and then it comes our job. when we`re healthy and in a good shape we have more energy and more good ideas for our work. When we have time to enjoy the company of our friends and family we are happier...

I also found inspiring and valuable her mother`s advice that she is always in control of her own actions. So, when she felt hopeless, her mother likened facing adversity to watching a horror film: "Darling, just change the channel. You are in control of the clicker. Don’t replay the bad, scary movie", she sad for The Huffington Post.
